¡Bienvenidos! 

After a bit of a winding road, I am happy to join Clements High School. Although I was born in Michigan, my mother moved to Cozumel, Mexico when I was a child and I still consider it home. After moving back to the United States as an adult, I finished a BSEd. with a specialization in Library Science. Trivia: only one college offers it at the undergraduate level, my alma mater: Kutztown University of PA. My first graduate degree, in Social and Health Psychology, was a continuation of my undergraduate minor and I completed it at Stony Brook University on Long Island. Later on, I returned for a second Master’s Degree in Hispanic Languages and Literature. I have taught Spanish for a number of years at Stony Brook University, Suffolk County Community College, and St. Joseph’s College, all on Long Island. I'm now starting my 6th year at Clements and I love it! 

When I have time, I enjoy cooking, dancing salsa and bachata, reading, and pretty much collecting knowledge.  I also try to travel back home when possible.
