Welcome one and all to another great year in mathematics. My name is Mr. Tielke and I will be your guide through Geometry AAC or Algebra 2 this year. My aim is to make math attainable for every young mind, and all students are reachable if they are willing to open up to the possibility to learn and obtain knowledge. I hope to create a fun and interactive classroom as I continue my journey as a teacher, but I also plan to provide thorough and constructive instruction along the way. 

I was a graduate of Elkins High School in 2003, and I attended Texas Lutheran University before graduating from the University of Houston in Clear Lake. I have had over twenty years of experience as a private tutor and I come from a family of educators.

I am the proud husband of Sarah Tielke, currently an English teacher here at Clements High School, and we have four wonderful children. I believe strongly in the roots of family, and I will always take care of my family above all else. Just as I hope to take an interest in the lives of my children for years to come, I greatly encourage all communication in reference to the success and struggles of our students/children for us to work together in harmony.
