Mr. Goodman
Mr. Goodman has taught middle school and high school courses since 1998, and has been a Clements Ranger since 2022.
He holds teaching credentials and certifications in California, Arizona, and Texas in the areas of Computer Science, Technology Applications, English, and Social Studies.
He attended the University of Southern California, California State University at Fresno, and beautiful Humboldt State in Northern California, where he earned his first teaching credential. Additionally, he completed the coursework for his Computer Science certification at the University of Texas in Austin.
He participated in collegiate fencing (foil and epee) at USC, founded the CSU Fresno fencing club, and taught fencing courses at HSU.
Mr. Goodman is proficient in the Python, JavaScript, C#, and Java programming languages, as well as HTML & CSS for web page design. He also works with computer-assisted drawing applications and 3D printers.
Outside of teaching, he has worked as a freelance author for nationally circulated magazines, a game designer for movie-related intellectual properties, and an IT manager for a rural Texas school district.
In his free time, he plays games of all types (board, card, tabletop miniatures, video) with his wife and 2 kids, dabbles in blues guitar, and serves as a deacon at his church.
