I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD since 2008. I believe that our job as teachers is to create environments where students not only explore, discover, and understand the academic subject matter, but also learn about how to work collaboratively with others to create shared knowledge. I am looking forward to working with your student and achieving excellence together! 

I received my Master of Arts in Education Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University in 2011. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (Michigan State University) and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies (Grand Valley State University).

I am married with 2 children of my own.  My daughter graduated from Texas A&M in 2019, got married 3 weeks later, and now lives and works as a chemical engineer in Louisiana.  My son graduated from Grand Valley State University and works in the environmental industry.  In my spare time, I enjoy doing DIY projects around the house with my husband, baking, and spoiling our fur baby.
