Hi, my name is Ms. Fig and welcome to FSMS 7 Science. I have been teaching at The Fort since the first year that we opened our doors. I love spending time with my family and staying active. 

Each new year brings many new opportunities for us to challenge ourselves and grow in our learning together. Falcons are an awesome group of students and my goal is to help each student reach their maximum potential. I post daily information, notes, activities, resources, and study tools in Schoology.  Please check Schoology for current announcements and class information. 

I graduated from Houston Christian University. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and working toward earning my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. I believe that life is a gift, and we must make the most of each day that we are given. Communication is very important to me. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the class or if you need some extra help. We offer team tutorials and students can attend as many sessions as they need throughout the week. 

I am looking forward to exploring the amazing world of Science with my students this year, and I believe that we can all learn something from each other.
