I am the department chair for Science and I teach Pre-AP Biology and 6th grade science here at the Fort.  I opened FSMS in 2001; it is a great school, and I love working here. I am in my 28th year of teaching, 27 of those years have been in FBISD.  Science is my passion and working with students to advance young minds in the direction of science and engineering is very important to me.

 

I have a BSE in Biology and Kiniesiology/Physical Education and a Masters in Environmental Science (management and sustainability).

    I am so excited to meet all of you and for the school year ahead of us.  Below is our 6th Science Team Welcome Letter.

    There is also a Safety Contract Link:  Parents and Students should open the document, complete it together, then submit it.  All FBISD students are required to have a safety contract on file to participate in laboratory investigations.  The students will take a safety test in which we score until a 100 percent is achieve (it is the only test of this nature).
