I am known by the students as “Señora Sánchez”. I was hired by FBISD in Madrid, Spain, my home city, in 2008.

I always felt attracted by languages. That is why I earned a Master's Degree in English Philology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. 


I became a volunteer teacher of Spanish at the Summer University organized by AEGEE (Association des États Généraux des étudiants de l’Europe ), for three years, while being a student at university.

After teaching English for nine years in a high school in Madrid, I was hired to come to Texas and teach Spanish in the best place: FSMS. I love it here. 

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three daughters.

Teaching Spanish 1 at Fort Settlement Middle School keeps getting better. 

I am excited about the Texan and also this international teaching environment, enjoying the friendship of the people around us.
