I am known by the students as “Señora Sánchez”. I was hired by FBISD in Madrid, Spain, my home city, in 2008.
I always felt attracted by languages, that is why I earned a Master Degree in English Philology in Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
I became a volunteer teacher of Spanish in the Summer University organized by AEGEE (Association des États Généraux des étudiants de l’Europe ), for three years, while being a student at university.
After teaching English for nine years in a high school in Madrid, I was hired to come to Texas and teach Spanish. I love it here.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three daughters and our boxer dog.
Teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish for Spanish Speakers at Fort Settlement Middle School keeps getting better.
I am excited with the Texan teaching environment, enjoying every day the friendship of the people that help us to set up in this country.
I wish all my students a successful Spanish learning year. ¡Olé!
