Hi there! My name is Ms. Kuykendall otherwise known as “Ms. K” and I feel extremely blessed to be able to teach here at The Fort.  

I consider myself a lifelong learner. I graduated from Wharton County Junior College with an associate’s degree in General Studies, Houston Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Media, as well as Texas Southern University with a master’s degree in Professional Communication and Digital Media. 

I love sharing with my students my love for writing and podcasting. I also love telling them about how I used to be a reporter and magazine contributor before I became a teacher. How cool is that?! I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach a subject that is dear to my heart. 

In addition to teaching and producing content, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as cooking.
