I graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a BS in Education with teaching emphasis in Science and Health.  I completed my first year of teaching at Troy ISD.  I worked the next six years at Waco ISD, serving as team leader for four of them.  The following five years, I taught at Marlin ISD.  I served as both Science department chair and team leader all five years.  After my time at Marlin, I moved back to Waco ISD for another three years and then taught at Midway ISD for seven, serving as team leader for the last two.  I'm excited to be at Fort Settlement Middle School.  I plan on staying here until I retire.

Beyond my professional life, I am a proud father of one daughter.  She graduated from high school with honors in the spring of 2024 and is currently attending Baylor University.  I am an avid coin collector and have built an all time finest PCGS set registry.  I also enjoy nature, spending much of my time working land dedicated to wildlife management.  I also have a cabin overlooking a private pond in East Texas where I like to spend time.
