Welcome to Fort Settlement Middle School! I am delighted to teach your child this year. My name is Jennifer Pittman, and I began teaching in 1998. I grew up in Beaumont, Texas, and attended public schools in Beaumont ISD. I graduated high school from West Brook Sr. High School in 1992. I currently live in Fulshear, Texas. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Lamar University in 1998. In 2009, I earned a Masters Degree in Instructional Leadership with a minor in History from Sam Houston State University. In 1998, I began teaching in Humble, Texas, at Humble Middle School. In 2005, I moved to Fort Settlement Middle School to teach 7th Grade Texas History and 8th Grade United States History as well as serving as the Social Studies Department Head.
