Mr. Jon Bracksieck

 

Hello Falcons! I'm thrilled to teach our 6th & 8th grade students here at Fort Settlement.  I also coach basketball and soccer here on campus.

 

My hope is to bring a workshop model to our classroom this year, helping my students grow as readers and writers. This year my goal is to carve out at least 10 minutes to read in each and every class - it'll be tough, but I think we can manage it. 

 

I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Psychology and received my Master's in English Education from the University of Virginia. I've been an educator since 2002 and joined FSMS in 2019.

 

In my free time I like to read, watch sports, travel, and spend time with my family. 

 

I'm really looking forward to this school year! Go falcons!
