My name is Pritilata Mitra and I am excited to be your child's ATS teacher this year. 

I have a Bachelor's in Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery from West Bengal Health University(India). This will be my fifth year in FBISD and 1st year in ATS.

Teaching is my passion. I love working with children. I believe that if children feel like they are in an encouraging, supportive environment, they will learn more and do better. They will also want to strive to always do their best. If they feel that they are in a safe learning environment, they will take more risks. Building strong relationships with students and parents is important to me.

My husband and I have been married for 13 years and have one wonderful son who is a fifth grader. We have the sweetest dog, Poshto.

In addition to spending time with my family, I love to paint and dance.
