I attended the University of Houston earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Teacher Certification.
I was hired at Elkins High School immediately after graduation from the University of Houston where I completed my first year of teaching. I transferred to the Tech Ed Center as the English III teacher in August of 2015. Starting August 2017, I began serving as the Technology Integration Champion at the Technical Education Center. As the Tech. Champion, I led the teachers in the building toward proficiency in technology integration and blended learning as well as collective teacher efficacy.
I graduated December 2018 with my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University. In August 2019, I continued my teaching career at Clements High School. My goal as a teacher is to keep students interested and engaged in the content through blended learning and differentiated instructional strategies.
Achievements: Teacher of the Year 2017-2018
