LtCol Rick Jarlowe
LtCol Rick Jarlowe graduated from Florida State University and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in 1988. Upon completion of the Basic Officer Course in Quantico, VA, he reported to and underwent Flight Training at Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL, and Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX. LtCol Jarlowe was designated as a Naval Aviator in April 1991.
LtCol Jarlowe served over 21 years of active duty in the United States Marine Corps as a Helicopter Pilot including two shipboard deployments to the Western Pacific and Combat Operations in Somalia and Iraq. In addition to his duties as a Helicopter Pilot, LtCol Jarlowe served as a Squadron Maintenance Officer, Squadron Safety Officer, and Squadron Operations Officer. LtCol Jarlowe completed his final tour of duty as the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing Operations Officer and retired in September 2010.
LtCol Jarlowe served as the Senior Naval Science Instructor at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, LA from 2010-2013, and he assumed his current position as the Senior Naval Science Instructor at William P. Clements High School in January 2021. LtCol Jarlowe is married and has two children.
