Students who are joining the military, the workforce or otherwise wish to opt out of completing the FAFSA or TASFA will complete the opt-out form. Completing the opt-out form will NOT prevent you from completing a FAFSA or TASFA at a later date. 

1. Log in to SchooLinks via 1Link/Clever
2. On the left, click on Finances/College Financing
3. Click on the blue “Update Status” button under FAFSA/TASFA
4. Select “Won’t file” and the reason for not filing
5. Complete the FAFSA Waiver (the form is available on this screen)
6. Upload a screen shot or PDF of the entire opt-out form and select the blue “Save” button

Seniors must submit their opt-out forms in SchooLinks by Monday, February 3, 2025. Please click here for specific instructions.
