The military can offer a challenging and rewarding career option for students wanting to serve their country. There are multiple ways to pursue a military career.
Military Academies
A highly competitive educational institution which prepares candidates for service in the officer corps of the Army, Navy, Air Force or Merchant Marine, which provides education in a service environment. Academies cover all educational and living expenses in exchange for five years of military service as an officer after graduation. Selection into the Academies often requires a congressional nomination, athletic ability and high academic achievement.Military academies are available for the:
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
A college-based program for training commissioned officers of the United States armed forces. Students are encouraged to apply for the ROTC scholarship for their branch of choice, which is viable at many different colleges and universities and includes full tuition benefits.- Army ROTC Scholarship Information

Enlisting
Enlisting in active duty or in the reserves requires a commitment for 4-5 years. Visit your College and Career Center on your campus to speak to a representative of the military.
