Purpose: To encourage participation in and the recognition of science, to advance student knowledge of classic and modern science, to communicate with the scientific community, to aid the community with its comprehension of science, and to encourage students to participate in community service.

 

As a JUNIOR (11^th grade): Must have COMPLETED at least 2 AAC sciences and ENROLLED in an AP science class. Must have maintained an 85 or higher for all AAC science courses (AAC Biology, AAC Chemistry).

As a SENIOR (12^th grade): Must have COMPLETED at least 2 AAC and 1 AP science. Must be ENROLLED in a 2^nd AP science class. Must have maintained an 85 or higher for all AAC science courses ((AAC Biology, AAC Chemistry). And an 80 or above in all AP science courses(AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C)

 *Once inducted as a member, the above standards must be maintained as well as completion of service hours.
