I am one of Ridge Point’s dance teachers and founding director for the Royals Dance Team. This is my 14th year teaching and eighth year at RPHS.
I am also a proud K-12 FBISD product! I graduated from Elkins High School where I was a three-year member of the Elite Dance Team and Captain my senior year. I then received a B.A. in Speech Communications with a minor in Dance from Texas A&M University. I have taught in Pearland ISD and at Dulles High School where I was a speech/dance teacher and Assistant Director for the Dolls Dance Team. I am also Ridge Point's Fine Arts Department Chair and FBISD Dance Facilitator. I am an active member of the Texas Dance Educator’s Association serving as Choreographer and Adjudicator for the DEAL/Dance Assessment Committee.
I am passionate about dance, I love teaching the arts, but I am most proud that I can mentor and foster the growth of young women and men on a daily basis. My philosphy of teaching centers on my belief that hard work pays off! I instill strong work ethic and personal responsibility in my students and I am blessed to fulfill my life's purpose with Ridge Point students.
I live in my childhood home in Quail Valley with my husband, our young daughter, and basset hound.
