Mrs. Valerie Pauling

My name is Valerie Pauling, and I teach Dual Credit English IV, English IV, and Creative Writing. I have been at Ridge Point High School since 2012 and have worked with Seniors since 2016.  I began teaching high school English in 2009. 

My favorite aspect of teaching these courses is witnessing the growth in my students' confidence as writers. I feel so proud when they write confidently and wield words with control. 

 

My spouse, Beau Pauling, also works at Ridge Point, and we have lived in Sienna since 2013. We love our dachshund, Roscoe and chi-mix, Nova. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and gardening.
