I am tremendously excited about beginning my eleventh year as a Ridge Point Panther!

Coach Torres is the RPHS Co-Athletic Coordinator and Girls Soccer Head Coach.  She is in her eleventh year as a Ridge Point Panther!   After graduating from J. Frank Dobie High School in Houston, Texas, she accepted a soccer scholarship from Belhaven University. While playing for the Blazers’ women’s soccer team, in 2009, she received an NAIA honor of GCAC All-Conference player. Since graduating from Belhaven University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business Administration, she has coached various levels of soccer experience ranging from the high school and club level. While serving as a head coach here at Ridge Point, they have clinched the 20-6A Girls' Soccer District Championship Title in 2015-2017, 2019-2024, UIL Soccer Playoff Regional appearances in 2015-2017, 2019, 2022, & 2023 and a State appearance in 2022 & 2023.

Coach Torres believes “Lead with love in all that you do.” Because it’s not just about wins and losses but about the lasting impressions and relationships that you gain with the student-athletes that come through your program. It is important to show the student-athletes what truly matters.
