My name is Ashley Gojara , your library resource specialist here to help connect you to the resources you need.
I am a former high school English teacher with 15 years experience teaching all levels of grades 9 through 12, with a specialization in academic writing and research.
As a student and as an English teacher, I always wanted to know more about the authors as individuals and the back story behind their work, stories often more interesting than the works themselves! Though schooled in Texas, I have had opportunities to study abroad to pursue projects personal to me such as literature and art. I traveled to England to study British literature at Worcester College at Oxford University. I also have had the honor of studying Mexican art and culture as a Fulbright Scholar. The stories of people and places have always inspired me. As a result, I’ve spent quite a bit of time in some amazing libraries learning from some very interesting people along the way.
