A University of Houston graduate, I've been a teacher for 21 years and continue to be a life-long learner.  I have 7 certifications & have taught different levels and subjects over my career, but my absolute favorite is teaching Middle School Art.  I love helping students see their full potential and making a positive difference in their lives. Art is my release and "happy place" & I feel blessed to be able to do what makes me happiest every day.  Another source of joy in my life is my husband of 26 years & our 4 wonderful boys. Three are in college or graduated & working. My youngest is 4 years old & just starting school in 2021. I also own and operate my own private art studio where I teach classes to kids and adults as well as create art for clients on commision. Family, Art, and teaching have always been my pride and most treasured parts of my life.
