I began teaching in 2010, right after completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Northern Illinois University and earning a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rockford University. I decided to start my teaching career in the vibrant city of Jhubei, Taiwan, where I had the privilege of guiding and inspiring 3rd-grade students for a remarkable year.

Upon returning to the United States, I felt incredibly grateful to join the Fort Bend ISD community, where I have dedicated myself to teaching ever since. Understanding the significance of my role, I firmly believe it is my duty to equip each student with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive in my class and to support them in reaching their full potential in all aspects of life.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing and growth-oriented environment that empowers my students to become lifelong learners. Beyond academics, I am committed to instilling a growth mindset that encourages my students to excel as individuals, both within and outside the classroom. Witnessing the positive impact I can make on young minds fills my heart with immense joy and a sense of purpose.
