Kassi Carey
I'm returning to RPHS for my 19th year in education. In addition to classroom experience teaching multiple subjects from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus, I also bring a background in working with the Curriculum and Instruction Department in FBISD and my work as a home tutor. Combining all of my experience, I will be teaching Pre-Calculus and Pre-Calculus PAP, acting as the Professional Learning Lead, and working with the Mathematics Department as the Math Dept. Head on campus this year. I am also the sponsor of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society.
On a personal note, I'm a mom of two wonderful kids that attend Scanlan Oaks. In my free time I enjoy spending time watching them participate in their activities, reading, exercising and cheering on my Clemson Tigers with my husband!
I look forward to creating a love of math in my students this year in an engaging learning environment!
