Gerald “Flash” Burns

I am beginning my second year of coaching and teaching at Ridge Point. This will be my 31st year of teaching and coaching. I have been married for 26 years to Ashley, a counselor at South Houston High School. We have two sons: Beau (23), a grad student at Texas Tech University, and Garrison (20), a student and football player at Missouri University of Science & Technology. I graduated from Texas Tech University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sport Science with a minor in History. I teach World History and am an assistant football and tennis coach. I attend New Hope Church and enjoy working out and spending time with family and friends.
