I am originally from Ghana, Africa, but grew up mostly in Mississippi. Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees were earned at Alcorn State University in Mississippi. Prior to transitioning to the K-12 level in 2011, I was Sr. Admissions Counselor and Recruiter at Alcorn State beginning in 2002.  I was a high school counselor for 3 years in Jackson, Mississippi, then my family and I moved to the Houston, TX area, where I have been a counselor with FBISD since 2015.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, baseball, music, swimming, Tae Kwon Do, DIY projects and repairs, and watching movies.

I truly enjoy helping students, families, and the community. I look forward to working with the entire student body and the Austin Bulldog Family.
