Greetings, 

My name is Coach Joshua A. Harris. I am a lifelong learner and educator of 10 years with experience in the subject of Mathematics and, most recently, I obtained certification in the area of Special Education. I am a proud graduate of The Illustrious Morgan State University, where I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Minor in Mathematics. Currently, I am continuing, and have almost completed my M.S. in Athletic Administration through Ohio University. 

I am extremely excited about joining Fort Bend ISD! I believe in building healthy relationships with students through restorative practices and finding our mutual interests. I have previously taught in each of the three levels (Elementary, Middle, and High School). This has enabled me to connect with my students and help them close their learning gaps. In addition, I coach football and baseball at Austin High School, where it is my pleasure to serve as the Varsity Wide Receivers Coach and Signal Caller, as well as, an Assistant Baseball Coach in the Spring. 

I will be servicing Math (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Math Models and Applications, and Geometry) and English (1 and 2) classes this year.  I very much look forward to working with all students for the betterment of the Austin HS community.
