Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene
Mrs. Elizabeth O. Lee
I am Elizabeth O. Lee, Principles of Health Science and Health Science Theory teacher at Austin High School. I am also one of the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) advisors. This is my second year at Austin and my 11th year of teaching. I am excited about being an AHS Bulldog! I teach because I believe that student success is most positively impacted by teachers who are not only concerned about their students' academic improvement but who take the time to make close connections with their students and provide as much of a personalized learning experience as possible. I try to leave each person and situation in better condition than when I first encountered it. For me, genuine care for students is what allows me to impact them even beyond the classroom and for years to come.
I graduated from The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston with my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2006 and love being a clinician. I've been married for the past 19 years and have two wonderful children- my son is 12 and my daughter is 15.
If there is anything I can help you or your student with, please let me know. I want every one of my students to do well in my class and be successful in life!
