• DUAL CO-RESIDENCE

    A student's enrollment via a Dual/Co-Residency is renewed each year. Please be sure to obtain notarization of the dual/co-residence affidavit PRIOR to coming to the school, as notary services will NOT be available at the school or at the district offices.  The affidavit must be notarized and delivered in person, along with the items listed below, to gain approval of your dual residency status for the 2024-2025 school year. 

    Required Documents for Duals Dual Affidavit

    • Dual/co-residence affidavit signed before the Notary Public by both the district resident who owns or leases the home and by the parent/guardian of the enrolling student.
    • Parent/legal guardian government issued identification (Texas driver’s license or ID card)
    • Homeowner/leaseholder’s government issued identification (Texas driver’s license or ID card)
    • Deed or Lease Agreement
    • Current Utility Bill (water, gas or electricity)

    POWER OF ATTORNEY (POA)

    A student's enrollment via a POA is renewed each year.  The POA includes information pertaining to both the parent and the appointee (temporary guardian).  If the parent or legal guardian lives within FBISD boundaries, the student must attend the zoned campus of the parent or legal guardian's FBISD address, and the POA appointee will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the zoned campus. 

    Required Documents for POA's POA Form

    • POA application signed & notarized
    • Parent/legal guardian government issued identification (Texas driver’s license or ID card)
    • Appointee government issued identification (Texas driver’s license or ID card)
    • Deed or Lease Agreement of both the parent and appointee
    • Current Utility Bill (water, gas or electricity) of both the parent and appointee
