I am Dr. Afiesimama and attended the Indiana University [Blooming, Indiana], the University of Michigan [Ann-Arbor, Michigan] and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A & M University [College Station, Texas]. Upon finishing my first degree, I enrolled at the University of Texas School of Public Health at the Medical Center [Houston, Texas] and completed a Masters in Public Health. My quest for knowledge, resulted in my enrolling at the University of Houston to pursue a Doctorate in Education, which I completed successfully.
My family's statement " It is more honorable to serve for a living than to work for a living," has been a driving force in my life as an educator. I believe that with a heart to serve, I can make a difference in the lives of my students, colleagues and others within my sphere of influence. Currently, I am the sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on my campus. I have been a part of the Dulles Family for years and enjoy working at Dulles High School.
