Mrs. Amy McGee

  • I’m a dedicated Social Studies and English teacher with 12 years of experience. I am excited to embark on my first year of teaching AVID and PALS. Growing up in Houston, TX, I pursued my education at Houston Baptist University, focusing on Composite Social Studies and Pedagogy. My teaching philosophy centers on pushing academic rigor while making an impact by building strong relationships with my students. I live with my wonderful husband, three pugs, and two cats in a neighborhood zoned to Dulles High School. I’m a strong advocate for AVID’s mission, and I am thrilled to finally be a part of the Viking community. It’s a great day to be a Viking!
