My name is Joshua Berezin.  I was born in Galveston county in 1986, I am a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  I became a Police Officer in 2015 and joined the FBISD Police Department.  On my off time I enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with my wife and friends.  I also like to spend time with my main girl Nova, a blue Pitbull that I rescued as a pubby.  I find taking care of my mental and physical fitness a priority in my life.  I married my best friend and soulmate, Lisa Berezin.  We were married September 2021 in Jamaica.  Semper Fidelis!!!!

Officer Steward

I am dedicated to the safety and security of all those that either work, learn or visit FBISD, as well as the communities the district serves. 

I’m Officer Steward, the school resource officer assigned to your campus this school year.  I started my career in 2007 with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, obtained my Law Enforcement Certification in the State of Mississippi, and worked for Yazoo City Police Department as a Patrol Officer.  I moved to Texas in 2014 to work as a Pre-trial Monitor for Fort Bend County Probation and Parole Department.  In March 2017 I started with the district as a Dispatcher with the Police Department and transitioned into a Police Officer.
