!Hola¡ My name is Denise Posa (being a graduate from Spain, most of my students just call me "Profe") and I teach Spanish 2 at Dulles High School. I have been teaching since 2018, and I have been teaching at Dulles since 2023. I am a former Dulles student myself and started learning Spanish as my second language when I was a teenager. It can be frustrating, especially trying to learn a language for the first time, but making mistakes is how we learn the best. I encourage my students to "love" their mistakes and keep using the language no matter what. Perfection comes with practice. My teaching focus is always centered on communication and making my students global citizens. I have my bachelor’s degree from UH and a Master of Spanish Language and Culture degree from the University of Salamanca.
