I have always loved the French language and culture, leading me to complete a Masters degree in French Literature at Arizona State University. I participated in an exchange program my second year there that allowed me to live in Lille, France for a year and attend and teach at the university there. This is where my interest in teaching language was sparked. Upon completion of that degree, I followed my husband to Houston where he was offered a job, and got my first full time teaching job as French teacher at Westbury High School, where I remained for five years. During that time I completed a Masters in Educational Leadership and was offered the opportunity to become a Dean of Instruction at Sharpstown High School. After 5 years serving as a campus administrator, an opportunity was presented to me to own a small business, where I remained for three years. I am beginning my third year here at Dulles and am so very excited to be part of the Dulles community and back in a French classroom. I look forward to an amazing year.
