Sam Houston State University-BAT University of Houston Victoria-Masters in Education Degree in Administration and Supervision

Miss Guadalupe Welsh

I was born and raised in Sugar Land, TX.  I graduated from Dulles High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching degree at Sam Houston State University. My teaching career started at Dulles High School and continued overseas in Dubai, Iran, and Venezuela working at military and private schools. I returned to Texas and the Fort Bend ISD where I have taught Biology, Aquatic Science, Integrated Physics and Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology. My accolades include a Teacher of the Year award at Willowridge High School and the Claude Borden Teacher of the Year Award from the Oyster Creek Rotary Club. While working as the Willowridge High School campus coordinator of the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) college preparatory program, I achieved the National Demonstration School status for the campus. Soon after these accomplishments, I earned a Master in Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston Victoria campus.
