Miss Alderfer has been teaching art since 2016, and at Dulles High School since 2022. She comes with an assortment of art teaching experience - from Art 1 to AP Studio (Art IV) and AP Art History. She graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and English Literature. She has also been fortunate enough to study master artworks abroad in several countries in Europe during 2 terms abroad, as well as classical drawing techniques at Florence University of the Arts. 

Ms. Alderfer is excited to continue her teaching career at DHS, and plans to organize international trips for students with EF tours in the year ahead and beyond.
