Ms. Wang has been teaching Chinese to various levels of students for over twenty years. She has a Masters degree in Education, and was recognized as the Chinese Teacher of the Year by the Texas Foreign Language Association in 2009. She previously engaged in FBISD curriculum writing. Additionally, Ms. Wang has helped lead the FBISD Global Initiative program on the China delegation for the past several years, and assisted the 2017-2018 Taiwan delegation. She has also been the Chinese Language Consultant at Rice University since 2005.

Ms. Wang has high expectations of her students and believes that hard work and responsibility are important aspects of learning. Her philosophy is to merge the beauty of Chinese culture and values with Western culture. For all the years that Ms. Wang has been teaching at DHS, the results of her students' AP scores have always been high-- the majority of her students receiving a 5 (the highest score).

In addition to her dedication, commitment, and passion for teaching the Chinese language and culture, Ms. Wang has translated several books from English to Chinese. 

Ms. Wang enjoys teaching and believes that education is the key to success.
