I'm originally from Mobile, Alabama. You can get there by following I-10 east until right before you get to Florida so at least by the weather the Houston area feels like home. I went to college at the University of South Alabama and got a degree in History and English with an emphasis in creative writing. I came to Texas to study at the University of Houston where I received a Masters Degree in American History and was pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental History. While there I realized that being in a classroom and interacting with students was what really invigorated my life so I changed course and earned a teaching certificate in Social Studies. I've been involved in teaching for over 10 years in all types of settings ranging from public, private, and the college level. I've been at Dulles for two years now. I'm excited to meet new students this 2023-2024 school year and help guide them as they expand their view to cover new topics in AP Government and US Government.

Outside of the school environment I'm a husband and father. My wife Elana and I have three kids who are all five or younger so home is a little loud and a little messy. I like to watch movies and tv shows, listen to audio books, play video games, watch sports (basketball, soccer, and esports predominately), and drink coffee.
