I was born and raised in Rockport, Texas, where I graduated with honors from Rockport-Fulton High School.  I earned my Bachelors of Science in Education from Texas A&M University Kingsville, where I also played football and ran track.  I began teaching and coaching in 2003 at Calallen High School in Corpus Christi, Texas.  I taught high school History and World Geography and coached football for 16 years.  I have also been a head high school soccer coach and wrestling coach during this time, before obtaining my EC-12 certification in Special Education. I am now a Special Education Case Manager and an In-Class Support Teacher here at James Bowie Middle School. I am passionate about educating and mentoring students to become confident, successful and productive human beings.
