Hello to all current Vikings, family members and friends. My name Michael Chung and I graduated from the University of Houston and earned a BBA majoring in Accounting, and later earned a Texas Teachers Certification in Secondary Math and Business Administration.

 I believe teaching is a rewarding experience. As an educator, I play many roles in the learning experiences of the students. First, I must be a guide for the students. As a guide, I serve as a bridge between the knowledge and skills the students bring to the classroom and the knowledge and skills I wish to provide.

 I must be an active mentor, so that I can properly touch, shape, and inspire the lives of all young men and women I have the opportunity to meet.

 In addition to teaching math, I am currently the girls’ soccer head coach. When I am not teaching in the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, and playing soccer.
