Peter Pomajevich has taught high school orchestra for four years, and is excited to join the Dulles High School Orchestra Program this year. Originally from Northern Virginia, Pomajevich moved to Montana where he studied Music Education at Montana State University - Bozeman. Throughout his teaching career Pomajevich has enjoyed working with students not only to help make them better musicians, but also to be better citizens and people. Pomajevich has taken his ensembles on out-of-state tours, to festivals, and local venues where they have been able to share meaniful and impactful performaces with their audiences. While in Montana, Pomajevich, a violinist, also performed as a member of the Glacier Symphony. Outside of music, Pomajevich has a deep passion for cycling, all outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
