Welcome Kempner Cougars!

As I enter my 17th year of teaching and my second year at Kempner High School, I want to express my gratitude for the support and collaboration we share in our educational community. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2008 and have dedicated my career to preparing students to be career-ready upon graduation through my role as a CTE teacher.

As the TSA sponsor, I encourage all students to join. This organization provides an excellent opportunity to explore various STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education and career interests through competitions and leadership activities. Our projects align with TSA requirements and national STEM standards, enhancing our school’s STEM curriculum. Participation in TSA competitions allows members to apply their technology and engineering skills in innovative ways, motivating them through recognition of their achievements.
