I am a 22-year veteran in education with 19 in the classroom.  I come from a small town with 36 in my graduating class.  I have been a juvenile diabetic for 46 years and feel very blessed that I have had no complications as yet.  I am happily married to a woman I have known for 30 years, and together we have seven children.  I am a published writer and I love to sing.  This is my fifth year teaching high school and I must say, it is a completely new world compared to elementary.  I am the current English IV team lead with an outstanding group of teachers.  My purpose for choosing education is solely to have an impact, like some of the wonderful teachers from my past.  We only have our kiddos for a short time before the world swallows them up, and I would like for them to experience the support and care from someone other than their family.  I received my Bachelor's from U of H Clear Lake and received my Master's from Southern New Hampshire University.  I look forward to a successful year and I can't wait to see my students walk across the stage.
