Hello!

My name is Vaneese Morris and I am excited to be your 7th grade ELA and/or Literacy teacher! This is my first year at Hodges Bend Middle School, as well as my first year teaching 7th grade. I previously taught 6th grade ELA. I am a proud alumna of College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE, where I lived for 11 years. I am certified in Core Subjects 4-8 (English, math, science, and social studies), as well as ESL 4-8. When I am not teaching and learning, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Terry), our daughter (Jordyn), and our dog (Appa).
