Kempner High School

Anisha Pokharel is a rising senior (class of 2025) at Kempner High School. She is part of Science National Honors Society and the South Asian dance team, Kempner Naach. Outside of school, she leads a youth organization to bring awareness for children with cancer. As the leader of the organization, Anisha has worked alongside multiple charities to connect her organization and give the fundraiser she collects back to those charities. Through her Capstone studies, she learned the technical skills and process of conducting research, which inspired and engendered her to pursue an educational doctorate soon. After high school, Anisha plans to prepare for a premed program by majoring in public health and psychology.
