The RPHS Science Olympiad Club's focus is to support, encourage and foster independent study in specific science and technology subjects and learn team dynamics and leadership skills. The purpose of the club is to encourage and prepare interested and driven students in the different science, math and engineering fields wherein they will pursue these subjects beyond their school curriculum. The goal is to prepare two teams of at least 15 members each compete in the invitational and regional competitions and hopefully have the teams advance to the national level. This club allows academically and scientifically driven students to be self motivated to do independent study of their chosen subjects and to collaborate and work as a team.
