Mrs. Kimbrough teaches AP English Language and Composition and English III. After earning an A.A. from Alvin Community College and a B.A. from the University of Houston--Clear Lake, she lived in Japan for two years, teaching English as a foreign language through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. Upon returning to her native Texas, she attended graduate school at (Southwest) Texas State University, studying Creative Writing and Education, and tutoring in the university's Writing Center. She is a proud original Travis Tiger staff member who has served THS since its inaugural year, 2006. Mrs. Kimbrough believes in working hard to achieve life goals, reading for the sheer joy of it, and remaining unabashedly faithful to the Oxford comma.
