We are excited to introduce our newest member of the Tiger Band & Guard staff! Please help us welcome our new percussion director, Ms. Pramono!

Nadya Pramono is from Houston, TX where she graduated from Alief Hastings High School. She then attended Stephen F. Austin State University and earned her B.M. in Music Education. While at SFA, Ms. Pramono studied percussion under Dr. Brad Meyer, Dr. Ben Tomlinson, and Dr. Jamie Vilseck, and was a member of the Lumberjack Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Steel Band, Swingin' Axes Jazz Band, Los Leñadores, and numerous percussion ensembles.

Most recently, Ms. Pramono worked as a Percussion Instructor at Katy JH and Mayde Creek JH where she taught the 6th grade beginners and worked with the 7th and 8th grade performing band percussion students at both campuses. Ms. Pramono is also an active clinician, contest judge, and masterclass teacher in the Greater Houston area.

Her professional associations include the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), Percussive Arts Society (PAS), Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Boota roota. In her free time, Ms. Pramono enjoys gaming, making beaded jewelry, karaoke, and making friends with every cat she meets. She’s very excited to begin teaching at Travis High School and Bowie Middle School this year!
