Coach Gomez is beginning his 24th year as a teacher, and his second at Travis High School. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2001, and he completed his Masters Degree in Educational Management at the University of Houston -Clear Lake in 2015. He holds classroom certifications in Composite Science, Math, Physical Education, and even a Principal certification. He is the Quarterbacks Coach for the Tiger Football team, and is also an Assistant Soccer Coach. He loves spending time with his family: his wife Beth El (another FBISD teacher), his daughter Ashlynn (8), and his son Alden (5). Most importantly, Coach Gomez aspires to be a life-long learner, who devotes himself to helping his students to become the best version of themselves.
