Welcome to Chemistry!

Hello and welcome! My name is Mary Mangum, and I am thrilled to be your child's Chemistry/Aquatic Science teacher this year at Travis High School.

About Me

I have been teaching Chemistry for 2.5 years, and I am passionate about helping students discover their potential. I hold a Bachelor's in History from UTD, a Master's in Instructional Technology from GCU, and am currently working towards a 2nd Bachelor's degree from Arizona State. I'm fully certified to teach in many areas, including Science. 

In my classroom, I strive to create an inclusive and engaging environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to do their best. I believe that learning should be both challenging and fun, and I work hard to make sure each lesson is interactive and meaningful.
